OBSCURA are pleased to announce their return to Australia and New Zealand in September 2026 as part of the ongoing A Sonication World Tour (2025–2027). The upcoming run will take place under the banner of SHRED FEST, the traveling festival concept headlined by OBSCURA, which debuted successfully in North America in 2025.
The Australia & New Zealand leg marks the longest tour in the band’s history across the region, bringing SHRED FEST to major cities and underground venues alike with a curated lineup representing multiple facets of modern extreme metal.
Joining OBSCURA on SHRED FEST Australia & New Zealand 2026 are U.S. progressive death metal innovators Fallujah, Australian death-doom force Ashen, and Sydney-based old-school death metal outfit Anoxia, alongside additional special guests on selected dates.
Following previous successful tours in Australia and a past visit to New Zealand, this edition of SHRED FEST represents OBSCURA’s most ambitious venture into the region to date. Fans can expect a comprehensive live set centered on A Sonication, complemented by selected material from across the band’s catalogue.
